SlimBound testing and quality standards
Testing is a process; the batch record is the result. This page describes the process that every SlimBound run passes through before a single bottle is released to this portal.
What is tested, and why

The facility
SlimBound is manufactured in the United States in a facility registered with the Food and Drug Administration and operating to current Good Manufacturing Practice. Two things are worth separating here, because marketing language across this whole category blurs them. Registration means the facility is on the FDA's list and is subject to inspection. It is not an approval, an endorsement, or a review of the formula. The FDA publishes a plain explanation of what supplement regulation does and does not cover, and it is the single most useful page a supplement buyer can read.
The laboratory
Batch testing is contracted to Cumberland Bioanalytics, Inc., an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, working independently of the manufacturing site. Accreditation under that standard concerns laboratory competence and method validity, which is the relevant question when you are reading a screening result.
What testing does not tell you
This is where most quality pages stop being useful, so it is worth being direct. Testing establishes that a run matches its own specification and sits under contamination thresholds. It does not establish that the formula works, it does not create per-ingredient disclosure that the formulator has not made, and it is not a substitute for the clinical evidence that a supplement of this kind simply does not have. Anyone using a certificate of analysis as proof of effectiveness is misreading it.
Storage, shelf life and handling
Bottles ship sealed with a printed lot code under the label seam. Store them somewhere dry and out of direct sun, at ordinary room temperature. The best-by date is printed alongside the lot code. A capsule that has darkened, softened or picked up an unfamiliar smell should not be taken; write to us and we will replace it or refund it under the 60-day window.
Corrections policy
If a figure on this site is wrong, we change it and we say what changed in the update line. If a production run is superseded, the batch record moves to the new run and the previous lot code stays retrievable on request. We do not silently edit numbers that buyers may have made a decision on.
