SlimBound ingredients, all eight and what is missing

SlimBound lists eight ingredients on the bottle and publishes no amount for any of them. This page prints all eight names, what each one actually is, what the public evidence says about it, and the same blunt note on every entry: the amount is not published.

Amounts: the formulator publishes no milligram figure for any of the eight. Every row above is a name and a role, never a dose.

The eight, one at a time

Leaf · Appetite signalling

Gymnema sylvestre

Long used in traditional practice around sweet cravings; modern human data is limited and mixed.[1]

Leaf · Glucose handling

Banaba

Source of corosolic acid, studied for its role in normal glucose handling.[6]

Fruit · Appetite signalling

Bitter melon

A culinary gourd in South Asian and East Asian cooking, studied for metabolic markers.[6]

Bark · Glucose handling

Cinnamon bark

Common kitchen spice. NCCIH states the evidence does not support cinnamon for weight loss.[1]

Root · Metabolic housekeeping

Licorice root

Traditional botanical. Carries a real blood-pressure and potassium caution at sustained intake.[2]

Berry · Metabolic housekeeping

Juniper berry

Aromatic berry with a long culinary history; human evidence for weight outcomes is thin.[4]

Trace Mineral · Glucose handling

Chromium

An essential trace mineral involved in normal macronutrient metabolism.[3]

Fruit · Metabolic housekeeping

Cayenne

Capsicum pepper, studied mostly for short-term thermic effect rather than weight loss.[6]

Reading a named-only label honestly

A label that names ingredients without amounts is legal and common. It is also less useful than a label with amounts, and pretending otherwise would be silly. Three practical consequences follow.

First, you cannot compare SlimBound against research doses. If a trial used a particular quantity of an extract, you have no way of knowing whether this capsule is near that or nowhere close to it. Second, you cannot self-check cautionary thresholds. Licorice root is the clearest example: the caution around blood pressure and potassium is dose-related, and a named-only label gives you nothing to work with. Third, you are relying more heavily on the manufacturing record than you otherwise would, which is precisely why the batch documentation on this portal matters more here than it would on a fully disclosed label.

NCCIH publishes a short, readable set of pages on herbs and on herbal supplements generally, and MedlinePlus keeps a plain-language dietary supplements hub. Both are better starting points than any brand site, including this one.[4][7]

What the bottle seal says

The bottle carries three statements beyond the ingredient list: allergen-free, gluten-free and non-GMO. It is manufactured in the United States in an FDA-registered facility operating to cGMP standards. There is one capsule per serving and thirty per bottle, so a bottle is a calendar month at the labelled serving.

Our position on the missing amounts

We could fill the gap. Plenty of sites do, and a plausible-looking milligram table costs nothing to invent. Ohio Valley Supply Partners is the authorized United States distributor for SlimBound and not its formulator, so any figure we printed would be a guess dressed as a fact. We would rather score badly on label transparency and be accurate about why.

If the formulator publishes amounts, this page changes the same week and the change is noted in the update line at the foot of the page. Until then, the amount column stays as it is. For what supplement labels are and are not required to tell you, the Food and Drug Administration keeps a plain question-and-answer page, and the Federal Trade Commission publishes the advertising side of the same question.[8][9]

Everything on this page is background information, not medical advice. Talk with your own clinician before you add any supplement, especially if you take prescription medication or you are pregnant or nursing.
